I have had the opportunity to work as a design apprentice for Midwest Living. During my apprenticeship, I worked on the Winter 2024 issue of the magazine. This has been a great experience and I have been able to see so much about the industry and learn so much about what goes in to a professional publication.
One of the projects I was able to work on was designing the Letter from the Editor page at the beginning of the magazine. This was a great process as it included not only the letter, but editor pics from the MWL seasonal gift guide that were not included in the story later in the magazine.
I was also a part of the creation of the MWL Gift Guide!
